Hey! I’m Tyler Ochart.

Owner of Ochart Cinematic, professional cinematographer, professional photographer, and wildly unqualified movie critic.

I started this business in 2020 under the name All Tyed Up Films, which was a play on my name, Tyler. At the time, I thought it was genius branding. Looking back... it was certainly branding. We grow, we learn, we rebrand.

​

Around that time, I was attending Full Sail University working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography. Humble brag incoming: I graduated at the top of my class... *cough*  valedictorian *cough*.  Very cool, very exciting, very much something I casually bring up whenever possible.

​

But truthfully, this all started way before college.

​

I’ve loved movies for as long as I can remember. Some of my best childhood memories are seeing Jurassic Park in theaters when I was five (definitely dated myself just now), watching X-Men with my dad and best friend, and then my dad immediately sneaking us into a very rated R Scary Movie (the horror spoof comedy) afterward. Maybe not elite parenting... but honestly? Iconic memories.

From then on, if I had access to a camera, even the cheap ones that made everything look haunted,  I was making short films with friends. Still do, honestly.

​

Eventually I realized spending my life in call centers getting yelled at for problems I didn’t create probably wasn’t my calling. So I made a decision:

 

Do what you love.

​

So I went all in.

​

I started Ochart Cinematic by creating free promo videos for local businesses during COVID because times were hard, and good people deserved help getting seen. That season taught me something important: stories matter.

​

And some of the greatest stories ever told are love stories.

That’s what pulled me into weddings,  the chance to capture something real, emotional, hilarious, beautiful, chaotic, and completely unique to two people.

​

I also run this business with my biggest supporter and favorite human, my wife, Francesca. She is the heart, warmth, and people-skills of Ochart Cinematic. I’m behind the camera for a reason, if awkward had a name… it would be Tyler Ochart.  She’s the one making clients feel comfortable, calming nerves, fluffing dresses, fixing details, grabbing water, keeping the day moving, and somehow making everyone feel like they’ve known her forever. She’s not just a second shooter. She’s our Client Experience Director... and honestly, the reason everything runs smoother than it should.

As the business grew, so did my love for photography. I’ve always been the guy taking photos on road trips, walks, family outings, random afternoons, and moments other people might miss. Photography lets me freeze emotion, energy, personality, and the little things that become big memories later.

While weddings are a huge part of what we do, I just genuinely love being behind the camera.

I love creating social media content for businesses.
I love filming marketing videos that actually feel alive.
I love capturing live events.
I love working with musicians on live sessions, promos, and music videos.
And yes…  I love photographing all of it too.
